EnviroCulvert® Rubber Ring Jointed Pipes DN100-900MM
EnviroCulvert® pipes in sizes 100mm up to 900mm are rubber ring jointed and each pipe is supplied with an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber seal and lubricant. EnviroCulvert® pipes consist of an integrated socket and spigot, the spigot end is designed to accommodate the rubber seal, which when assembled forms a watertight joint from the radial compression of the rubber seal between the spigot and the socket ends.
The following procedure is recommended when jointing EnviroCulvert® rubber ring jointed pipes.
Important information for rubber orientation and cutting of Enviropipes Corrugated pipe from 225-900mm (Please contact your nearest Enviropipes branch for cutting of all other sizes)
- During installation if the pipes need to be cut to special lengths make sure cuts are made to the centre of the valley only, also make sure to seal the airways before installing (this applies to sizes between 225-900mm only contact your nearest Enviropipes branch for cutting of all other sizes)
- Install rubber in the correct orientation (as per below picture) in the last valley of the pipe and make sure surfaces are clean and lubricated with approved Enviropipes lubricant.
- Rubber notches should be installed in line with the airway of the pipe to avoid any leaks after compressing the rubber into the socket
EnviroCulvert® Rubber Ring Jointed Pipes 1050 - 2000mm
EnviroCulvert® Rubber ring joint pipes are manufactured in sizes 1050mm up to 2000mm and each pipe is supplied with a set of EPDM rubber seals and lubricant. EnviroCulvert® pipes consist of an integrated socket and spigot; the spigot end is designed to accommodate the rubber seal, which when assembled forms a watertight joint from the radial compression of the rubber seal between the spigot and the socket ends.

EnviroCulvert® Electro Fusion Jointed Pipes DN2500-4000MM
EnviroCulvert® Electro-fusion jointed pipes are manufactured in sizes 1050mm up to 4000mm. After the pipes have been manufactured each pipe is prepared for electro-fusion welding and wrapped in a protective cover for fusion welding later on site. Enviropipes supplies electro-fusion machines and tooling suitable for welding these pipes together. With this method the whole pipeline becomes a homogenous system and absolutely safe against unwanted in/ex-filtrations. Using this jointing technique makes it possible to install large diameter pipes in short periods of time.
